Movil), banking (Grupo Financiero Inbursa) and mining (Minera Frisco),
as well as Philip Morris, New York Times, Saks and Caixabank. Through
his family’s holding company, Grupo Carso, Slim also commands a large
presence in the Mexican construction industry.
